Carter flew beneath the previous meet record of 2:09.28, lowering it to a 2:09.02. The previous record was posted in 2010 by Palo Alto Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jasmine Tosky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Joining Carter beneath the previous meet record was Metroplex&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lindsay Looney<\/strong>. She just missed the meet record of 1:08.11, set by\u00a0<strong>Zoe Bartel<\/strong> in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Triton Swimming&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Claire Donan<\/strong> grabbed second with a time of 1:09.98 while Chelsea Piers&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong> rounded out the podium with a time of 1:10.05.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rachel Ramey<\/strong> of Texas Ford Aquatics tied with\u00a0<strong>Kaki Christensen<\/strong> of Chelsea Piers for fourth. Roy dashed to a final time of 1:01.42 to secure gold by more than half a second.<\/p>\n<p>Picking up second was\u00a0<strong>Zane Backes<\/strong> of Team Rebel Aquatics, stopping the clock at a time of 1:02.00. The 17-year-old delivered a final time of 15:18.44, finishing more than ten seconds ahead of the competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lleyton Plattel<\/strong> of the Pleasanton Seahawks grabbed a narrow second place victory, stopping the clock at a time of 15:29.71.
