One of the top stories coming out of night one was\u00a0<strong>Olivia Carter&#8217;s<\/strong> new meet record in the women&#8217;s 200 fly, while\u00a0<strong>Erica Sullivan<\/strong> followed up her U.S. Open success with a top showing in the women&#8217;s 800 free.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2017-speedo-junior-nationals-day-one-finals-day-1\/usa-age-group\/2017\/August\/8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DAY ONE FINAL RESULTS<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule of Events:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 100 Breast<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 100 Breast<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 800 Free<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 1500 Free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Olivia Carter<\/strong> of Enfinity Aquatics delivered the top time of the evening in finals of the women&#8217;s 200 fly. Carter flew beneath the previous meet record of 2:09.28, lowering it to a 2:09.02. The previous record was posted in 2010 by Palo Alto Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jasmine Tosky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Joining Carter beneath the previous meet record was Metroplex&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lindsay Looney<\/strong>. The 17-year-old delivered a final time of 15:18.44, finishing more than ten seconds ahead of the competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lleyton Plattel<\/strong> of the Pleasanton Seahawks grabbed a narrow second place victory, stopping the clock at a time of 15:29.71.
