Delgado was recently a member of Santa Margarita High School&#8217;s National Independent High School record breaking 4&#215;100 freestyle relay. <strong>Taylor Hosmer<\/strong> and <strong>Jillian Hatch<\/strong> took second and third in 2:05.54 and 2:05.66 respectively. Hatch was leading at the 100 meter mark by over a second, flipping in 1:00.20, but Hosmer&#8217;s strong back half led to her ultimately marginal victory.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 200 freestyle was a much closer race as the top three finishers all slid under 1:54. <strong>Dominic Dalpiaz<\/strong> of the Walnut Creek Aquabears took first in 1:53.23, while <strong>Shane Forker<\/strong> of the Cal Aquatics\u00a0dropped more than a half second off his personal best to take second in 1:53.38. <strong>Trenton Martinez<\/strong>, the only high school student on the podium, took third in 1:53.76. Martinez continues his hot streak as he was a member of the winning\u00a0Tualatin Hills Swim Club 4&#215;200 freestyle relay last night.<\/p>\n<p>It took under a 1:14 to get on the podium tonight in the women&#8217;s 100 breaststroke as the final was won by <strong>Katrina Hage<\/strong> of Rio Salado Swim Club\u00a0in a time 1:13.46. Young talents <strong>Tegan Preston<\/strong> and <strong>Abby Maoz<\/strong> took second and third respectively in 1:13.87 and 1:13.98.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anthony Moore<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.12.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bianca Preciado<\/strong> of La Mirada Swim Club took first in the 100 butterfly with a 1:02.41, while <strong>Elizabeth Cook<\/strong> of Tualatin Hills Swim Club\u00a0took second in 1:02.89. Hatch came third with a new best time of 1:03.19 for her second bronze medal of the night, as she had taken third in the 200 freestyle earlier in the meet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Hall<\/strong> of Central Area Aquatics Team was the only man under 56 tonight in the men&#8217;s 100 fly, winning with a time of 55.74. Spencer Daily of Orinda Aquatics and Felix Chiun of De Anza Cupertino Aquatics\u00a0took second and third in 56.16 and 56.31 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>15 year-old<strong>\u00a0Bianca Yongyuth<\/strong>\u00a0swam a fast 4:57.28 to win the women&#8217;s 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Age group phenom\u00a0<strong>Tyler Lu<\/strong>, a key member of King Aquatic&#8217;s many age group record breaking relays, won the men&#8217;s 400 IM tonight in 4:32.16. That time was\u00a0more than\u00a010 seconds faster than he was this time last year and a little more than 7 seconds faster than his prelim time of 4:39.24. Incoming Cornell freshman\u00a0<strong>Min Zhi Chua<\/strong>\u00a0dropped three seconds to take second in a new best time of 4:32.66.
