BROOKS Teal has announced his resignation as head coach for men&#39;s and women&#39;s swimming and diving after 11 years with the NC State program.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;For personal reasons, I have decided to move on and leave my position as head coach of the men&#39;s and women&#39;s swimming and diving programs here at NC State,&quot; said Teal. &quot;It has been a great experience to coach at my alma mater and I appreciate the opportunity. I have had the great pleasure to work with many outstanding young men and women.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We appreciate all of Brooks&#39; contributions to our program and wish him the best in his future endeavors,&quot; said Director of Athletics Deborah A. Yow. &quot;As a State alum and program mentor, Brooks will always be an important part of the Wolfpack Family.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately, chaired by Chris Kingston, senior associate director of athletics.
