In night two finals tonight, none of them could match their prelims times. Third seed Fanwood Scotch Plains rose to the top of the pack.\u00a0<strong>Marlise Moesch<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Darlene Fung<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Rachel Maizes<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Monika Burzynski\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:47.41 to win the event. Red Bank&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ginger Hansen<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Caroline McGann<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Marie Schobel<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Megan Judge\u00a0<\/strong>were second (1:47.59) while Cheshire rounded out the podium with the team of\u00a0<strong>Alexandra Tyler,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Elizabeth Boyer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mia Leko<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Tara Tiernan\u00a0<\/strong>(1:47.70).<\/p>\n<p>Creating a trend, third seed Powel Crosley took the men&#8217;s National title in the 200 freestyle relay.\u00a0<strong>Carson Burt<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Garrison Herfel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Will McCullough<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Charles Leibson\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:35.58. Also dipping under 1:36 was Somerset Hills&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Jack Alexy<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sean Foster<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Roo Fenton<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Ryan Carkhuff\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.94). Picking up third was\u00a0<strong>Matt Wilson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>KJ Losee<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Henry Schutte<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Ben Puglessi\u00a0<\/strong>of Rapid Area in 1:36.18.<\/p>\n<p>Butler&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Camryn Forbes\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 backstroke. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/camryn-forbes-gives-verbal-commitment-to-indiana\/\" target=\"_blank\">IU commit<\/a> touched in 2:13.57. Fifteen year old\u00a0<strong>Paige Hetrick\u00a0<\/strong>created a significant gap between herself and the third place finisher. The Bradford swimmer touched in 2:14.45. Ridley Area&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Georgia Apostolu\u00a0<\/strong>seized third in 2:16.35.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 200 backstroke it was\u00a0<strong>Jake Kealy\u00a0<\/strong>of Wilton leading the way with a 2:03.53. Countryside&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Noah Young\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 2:04.20, just edging Hickory&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ross Dant\u00a0<\/strong>with a 2:04.39.<\/p>\n<p>A pair of &#8220;Megan&#8221;s topped the women&#8217;s 100 fly podium. Blue Ash&#8217;s 16 year old\u00a0<strong>Megan Glass\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:01.03 to grab gold. Earning silver was Countryside&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Megan Sichterman\u00a0<\/strong>(1:01.70). Finishing third was\u00a0<strong>Mia Leko\u00a0<\/strong>of Cheshire (1:02.44).<\/p>\n<p>Upper Main Line&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brendan Burns\u00a0<\/strong>demolished the field in the 100 butterfly. The 16 year old clocked a 54.50. In a tight race for second Orlando&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Logan Quint\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 57.13, just .01 before Somerset Valley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Riley Pestorius\u00a0<\/strong>(57.14).<\/p>\n<p>New Canaan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lizzy Colwell\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 2:36.82 to win gold in the women&#8217;s 200 breaststroke.\u00a0<strong>Megan Bull\u00a0<\/strong>of Somerset Valley was runner up in 2:37.49. Cheshire&#8217;s Boyer topped a trio of 2:38s with her 2:38.48 to finish third.<\/p>\n<p>Door County&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maxwell McHugh\u00a0<\/strong>won the men&#8217;s 200 breaststroke in commanding fashion. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ymca-national-champion-max-mchugh-verbally-commits-to-minnesota\/\" target=\"_blank\">Minnesota verbal commit<\/a>\u00a0went a 2:16.48. He was followed by 14 year old\u00a0<strong>Matt Fallon.\u00a0<\/strong>The Somerset Valley swimmer went a 2:20.28. In third was Powel Crosley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Blake Brockman\u00a0<\/strong>(2:22.41).<\/p>\n<p>After finishing third in the night&#8217;s opening relay Cheshire swam well ahead of the women&#8217;s 400 medley relay field. Tyler,\u00a0<strong>Lily Kurtz<\/strong>, Leko, and Tiernan combined for a 4:17.88. In 4:20.23 Butler&#8217;s Forbes,\u00a0<strong>Brooke Zukowski<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mallory Marzolf<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Taylor Petrak\u00a0<\/strong>finished second. Fanwood Scotch Plains&#8217; Fung, Maizes, Burzynski, and Moesch (4:20.71) were third.<\/p>\n<p>Lakeland Hills won the men&#8217;s 400 medley relay by a solid margin.\u00a0<strong>Justin Yang<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Chris Ruhnke<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Matthew Luciano<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>William Zhang\u00a0<\/strong>combined for a 3:53.28. Upper Main Line&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Carson Huff<\/strong>, <strong>Ben Doyle<\/strong>,\u00a0Burns, and\u00a0<strong>Kevin Ryle\u00a0<\/strong>(3:56.39) were second. In third was York with a 3:57.17 and the team of\u00a0<strong>Ted Gunn<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Alex Sun<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Logan Brockway<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Alec Peckmann<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After night two, Cheshire leads the women&#8217;s team scoring with 131 points. In second is York and York County with 108 points, and with a score of 97, Countryside sits in third. Powel Crosley has scored 117 to top the men&#8217;s scoring.
