NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Mackenzie Looze<\/strong>, daughter of Indiana University head coach\u00a0Ray Looze<\/strong>, has committed to swim for her father beginning in the fall of 2018. Looze swims for Bloomington High School South, where her mother\u00a0Kandis Looze\u00a0<\/strong>is co-head coach. She also swims with the Bloomington Swim Club.<\/p>\n

Looze primarily swims freestyle and IM. Her best SCY times are:<\/p>\n

500 Free: 4:59.69<\/li>\n
1000 Free: 10:23.49<\/li>\n
200 IM: 2:00.43<\/li>\n
400 IM: 4:29.04<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
At the 2017 IHSAA State Championships<\/a>, Looze finished fourth in the women’s 200 IM (2:01.58). She also split a 28.43 in the breaststroke leg of Bloomington South’s second place medley relay. In the 400 freestyle relay, she anchored the fourth place relay in 50.65.<\/p>\n
