The fifth day of the 2017 FINA World Championships has come to a close and saw a multitude of athletes make their way onto the podium.<\/p>\n

Among those were the USA’s\u00a0Chase Kalisz<\/strong> (200 IM) and Team USA’s 800 free relay, both of which defended USA Worlds titles.<\/p>\n

Mireia Belmonte<\/strong> of Spain snuck past the competition to claim gold in the women’s 200 fly, while\u00a0Yulia Efimova<\/strong> pulled from behind to post the top qualifying time in the women’s 200 breast.<\/p>\n
