Events on the evening finals slate include the men&#8217;s 100 free and 200 IM, as well as the women&#8217;s 50 back and 200 fly and 800 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>Top seeds for the five finals include\u00a0<strong>Mehdy Metella\u00a0<\/strong>(men&#8217;s 100 free),\u00a0<strong>Chase Kalisz<\/strong> (men&#8217;s 200 IM),\u00a0<strong>Etiene Medieros\u00a0<\/strong>(women&#8217;s 50 back),\u00a0<strong>Franziska Hentke\u00a0<\/strong>(women&#8217;s 200 fly) and China (women&#8217;s 800 free relay).<\/p>\n<p>In semi-final action,\u00a0<strong>Sarah Sjostrom\u00a0<\/strong>will be the top seed in the women&#8217;s 100 free,\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong> led the prelims field in the men&#8217;s 200 back and\u00a0<strong>Molly Renshaw\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Anton Chupkov\u00a0<\/strong>finished tops in their respective 200 breast events.<\/p>\n<p>The finals session begins at 5:30 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. ET in the USA).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The heat sheets have been posted for day five finals at the 2017 FINA World Champs in Budapest.
