THE FLORIDA foursome of Conor Dwyer, Brett Fraser, Sebastien Rousseau and Jeff Raymond dominated the 800-yard freestyle relay for the win at the NCAA Division I Men&#39;s Championships.<\/p>\n<p>The Florida squad checked in with a time of 6:14.88 to give Florida its seventh 800 free relay title in NCAA history.  Previous wins came in 1979, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1987 and 2005.  <\/p>\n<p>Virginia&#39;s Matt McLean, Peter Geissinger, David Karasek and Scot Robison finished second in 6:16.59, while Southern California&#39;s Clement Lefert, John Wagner, Dimitri Colupaev and James White earned third-place honors in 6:17.58. <\/p>\n<p>Stanford (6:19.13), California (6:20.54), Michigan (6:22.42), North Carolina (6:22.87) and Arizona (6:23.44) finished in the top eight with California&#39;s Tom Shields moving to 15th all time in the 200-yard free with his leadoff leg of 1:32.75.<\/p>\n<p>Texas (6:23.77), Georgia (6:23.79), Ohio State (6:24.13), Tennessee (6:24.91), Indiana (6:26.88), Louisville (6:29.26) and Minnesota (6:31.36) also scored with Auburn being disqualified for an early take off.<\/p>\n<p>California finished a triumphant day with 352 points heading into the final day tomorrow.  Texas has some major ground to make up with a second-place tally of 288.5 points, while Stanford is in third with 278.5 points.  Arizona (214) and Florida (213) stand fourth and fifth.
