The session begins at 5:30 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. in the USA).<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fina-world-championships-day-four-finals-heat-sheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to view the full heat sheets for day four finals.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The only swimmer to scratch out of an event was Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ilaria Bianchi<\/strong>, who withdrew after finishing 13th in the 200 fly prelims. Switzerland&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Martina Van Berkel<\/strong>, who finished 17th in prelims, moves into the last spot for the semis.<\/p>\n<p>Also, after there was a tie for second alternate in the men&#8217;s 100 free between\u00a0<strong>Richard Bohus<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Dylan Carter<\/strong>, 17th-place finisher\u00a0<strong>Joseph Schooling\u00a0<\/strong>stepped aside, moving Bohus and Carter to the co-first alternate position, avoiding a swim-off. Carter is listed first on the start list for that event.<\/p>\n<p>Top seeds for the five finals on the evening program include\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong> in the women&#8217;s 200 free,\u00a0<strong>Daiya Seto<\/strong> in the men&#8217;s 200 fly,\u00a0<strong>Adam Peaty\u00a0<\/strong>in the men&#8217;s 50 breast,\u00a0<strong>Gregorio Paltrinieri\u00a0<\/strong>in the men&#8217;s 800 free and the United States in the mixed 400 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>In semi-final action,\u00a0<strong>Cameron McEvoy\u00a0<\/strong>will be seeded first in the men&#8217;s 100 free,\u00a0<strong>Fu Yuanhui\u00a0<\/strong>holds down the No. 1 position in the women&#8217;s 50 back and\u00a0<strong>Kosuke Hagino<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> are ranked first in the men&#8217;s 200 IM and women&#8217;s 200 fly, respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The heat sheets have been posted for the fourth night of finals at the 2017 FINA World Championships.
