Qin touched second in his heat in 1:59.01.<\/p>\n<p>That time broke the World Junior Record of 1:59.12 set by the USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michael Andrew\u00a0<\/strong>in March. However, the time is nowhere close to the fastest all-time swim for an 18-and-under swimmer, as\u00a0<strong>Michael Phelps<\/strong> swam a 1:55.94 when he was 18 years old back in 2003.
