Men’s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n

Laszlo Cseh<\/strong> of Hungary charged ahead of the competition in prelims of the men’s 200 fly to a roaring home crowd. Cseh grabbed the top qualifying time out of prelims with a time of 1:54.08.<\/p>\n

Japan’s\u00a0Daiya Seto<\/strong> picked up the second place seed with a time of 1:54.89, followed by denmark’s\u00a0Viktor Bromer<\/strong> and his time of 1:55.13.<\/p>\n

Antani Ivanov<\/strong> of Bulgaria turned in a fourth place qualifying time of 1:55.55, while South Africa’s\u00a0Chad le Clos<\/strong> grabbed the fifth place seed with a 1:55.90.<\/p>\n

Japan’s\u00a0Masato Sakai<\/strong> qualified sixth overall close on le Clos’ heels with a time of 1:55.94, just ahead of Hungary’s\u00a0Tamas Kenderesi’s<\/strong> 1:55.96.<\/p>\n

Jack Conger<\/strong> of the USA rounded out the top eight qualifiers, touching in 1:56.00.<\/p>\n

Also returning for tonight’s semi-finals will be Russia’s\u00a0Daniil Pakhomov\u00a0<\/strong>(1:56.07), Poland’s\u00a0Jan Switkowski<\/strong> (1:56.20), the USA’s\u00a0Pace Clark<\/strong> (1:56.23), Italy’s\u00a0Giacomo Carini<\/strong> (1:56.52), Australia’s\u00a0David Morgan<\/strong> (1:56.57), Colombia’s\u00a0Jonathan Gomez\u00a0<\/strong>(1:56.60), Australia’s\u00a0Grant Irvine<\/strong> (1:56.61), and Brazil’s\u00a0(Leonardo de Deus<\/strong> (1:56.71).<\/p>\n
