On the schedule for the start of day three is the men&#8217;s 50 breast, women&#8217;s 200 free, men&#8217;s 200 fly and men&#8217;s 800 free.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2017-fina-world-championships-day-3-prelims-heat-sheets-day-3-international-elite-2017-07-23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">PRELIMS HEAT SHEETS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The shortest race of the morning will feature the defending World Champion\u00a0<strong>Adam Peaty<\/strong>. Peaty will be swimming fresh off his gold-medal winning 100 breast, where he neared his world record. Young Italian breaststroke sensation,\u00a0<strong>Nicolo&#8217; Martinenghi<\/strong>, will be present in prelims, while fellow breaststroke aces\u00a0<strong>Kevin Cordes, Joao Gomes Junior,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Cameron van der Burgh<\/strong> also enter with quick times.<\/p>\n<p>Defending Olympic Gold Medallist and World Champion\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong> enters as the top seed in the women&#8217;s 200 free with a 1:53.73. World Record holder\u00a0<strong>Federica Pellegrini<\/strong> holds the second fastest seed with a 1:54.55.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow 2016 silver medallists\u00a0<strong>Laszlo Cseh<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Chad le Clos<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>will begin their quest towards butterfly gold as two of the fastest seeds in the 200 fly heats. Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Masato Sakai<\/strong> and Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tamas Kenderesi<\/strong> are also top seeds.<\/p>\n<p>The morning session will end with the preliminary heats of the men&#8217;s 1500 free as Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Gabriele Detti<\/strong> hosts the fastest seed time at a 7:41.64.
