She won Olympic gold in the event last year in Rio.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fina-world-championships-day-two-finals-heat-sheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to view the full heat sheets.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hosszu will also be the top seed for the final of the women&#8217;s 200 IM, which she also won gold in last year. The final is scheduled for a few minutes after the 100 back semis in the evening session, prompting Hosszu&#8217;s withdrawal.<\/p>\n<p>Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Siobhan-Marie O&#8217;Connor\u00a0<\/strong>also scratched the women&#8217;s 100 breast semis in anticipation of her race in the 200 IM final.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Egypt&#8217;s <strong>Marwan Elkamash\u00a0<\/strong>will swim in the semi-finals of the men&#8217;s 200 free, and\u00a0Austria&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Felix Auboeck<\/strong>\u00a0will not. The two initially tied for 16th in prelims, but no swim-off ever happened.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from Hosszu, two other Olympic gold medalists will go in finals of their signature events Monday evening: Sweden&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sarah Sjostrom\u00a0<\/strong>in the women&#8217;s 100 fly and Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Adam Peaty\u00a0<\/strong>in the men&#8217;s 100 breast.\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel\u00a0<\/strong>enters the men&#8217;s 50 fly final as the top seed.<\/p>\n<p>In the four semi-final events scheduled for the evening session, Canada&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kylie Masse\u00a0<\/strong>and China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Xu Jiayu<\/strong> are the top seeds for their respective 100 back races, while the USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lilly King\u00a0<\/strong>was first in the women&#8217;s 100 breast prelims.
