Grevers is returning to the international stage after missing the U.S. Olympic team last summer.<\/p>\n<p>Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Grigory Tarasevich<\/strong>, who has already seen two of his Louisville teammates\u00a0(<strong>Mallory Comerford\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kelsi Worrell<\/strong>) win gold in Budapest, qualified third in 53.18, one spot ahead of the American who won Olympic gold last summer and holds the world record,\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong>. Murphy checked in at 53.26.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ryosuke Irie\u00a0<\/strong>was fifth in 53.54, one hundredth ahead of Greece&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Christou Apostolos\u00a0<\/strong>(53.55).
