The two delivered times a shy .01 seconds apart from heats one and two respectively to earn the top two seeds. Dressel posted a 22.76, while Govorov turned in a 22.77.<\/p>\n<p>Brazil&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Santos<\/strong> grabbed the third place seed with a time of 22.84, followed by Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Benjamin Proud<\/strong> and his time of 22.92.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joseph Schooling<\/strong> of Singapore delivered a 22.93 to qualify fifth overall, while Brazil&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Henrique Martins<\/strong> turned in a 22.13 for sixth.<\/p>\n<p>The USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tim Phillips<\/strong> and Ukraine&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Andrii Khloptsov<\/strong> qualified seventh and eighth with times of 23.25 and 23.31 respectively.
