from\u00a0<strong>Mallory Comerford\u00a0<\/strong>in her FINA World Championships debut.\u00a0<strong>Lia Neal<\/strong> (53.94),\u00a0<strong>Kelsi Worrell<\/strong> (53.27),\u00a0<strong>Olivia Smoliga\u00a0<\/strong>(53.67) and Comerford\u00a0combined to post a time of 3:33.35 to finish almost one second ahead of the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>The Dutch squad of\u00a0<strong>Maud Van Der Meer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kim Busch<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> qualified second in 3:34.26, and Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Madison Wilson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Brittany Elmslie\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Shayna Jack<\/strong> qualified third in 3:35.18.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. and Aussie squads figure to add big pieces in the final: The likes of\u00a0<strong>Simone Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky\u00a0<\/strong>for the Americans,\u00a0<strong>Bronte Campbell\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Emma McKeon<\/strong> for Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Sweden, buoyed by\u00a0<strong>Sarah Sjostrom&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>impressive 52.19 split, qualified third in 3:35.50, and Canada, swimming without 100 free Olympic champion\u00a0<strong>Penny Oleksiak<\/strong>, was fifth in 3:35.85.<\/p>\n<p>Also making the final were
