NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>In the past few years\u00a0NC State has\u00a0done a nice job of keeping local swimmers in Raleigh. Today\u00a0Zach Brown\u00a0<\/strong>added his verbal commitment to the NC State Class of 2022. Brown joins Marlins of Raleigh teammate\u00a0John Healy<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>who verbally committed to the Wolfpack earlier this week. They follow\u00a0Justin Ress<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>Scott Johnson<\/strong>, and\u00a0Adam Linker<\/strong>, former club teammates who have gone onto successful NC State careers.<\/p>\n

Brown is entering his senior year at Athens Drive High School where he has been a multiple time North Carolina 4A High School state champion. At the 2017 meet<\/a> he won the 200 IM and the 100 fly. Sophomore year Brown also won the 100 fly but finished second in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n

Brown said in his Twitter announcement,<\/p>\n

“Excited to announce my verbal commitment to Swim at NC State! Thanks to everyone that’s helped me over the years.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
