Meryn McCann<\/strong> and Shauna Lee<\/strong> were untouchable tonight in the 400 free. Having placed\u00a0second and first in the 200 freestyle last night, the pair of Bulldogs switched places tonight in the 400 free going 4:15.96 and 4:16.20 respectively. Tennessee commit Sinclair Larson<\/strong> of SwimMac took third in 4:20.58.<\/p>\n

Amusingly, the same switch happened on the men’s side, as the pair of Walker Higgins<\/strong> and Nicholas Hogsed<\/strong> went 3:52.13 and 3:52.30 to win in similarly dominant fashion. Aidan Burns<\/strong> of SCSC-PC came third in 3:56.52.<\/p>\n

In the women’s 100 fly, Haley Black<\/strong> of Auburn University took first in 1:00.26. Tonner Debeer<\/strong> took second in 1:00.87 and Tristen Ulett<\/strong> took third in 1:01.15.<\/p>\n

David Dingess<\/strong> of Kentucky took 0.55s off his best time from Trials, to win the event in 54.00. Tennessee Aquatics’s James Bretscher<\/strong> ran down Dynamo’s Mick Litherland<\/strong> in the back half to take second by 0.03s in a time of 54.69.<\/p>\n

Danielle Dellatorre<\/strong>, who took third last night in the 400 IM, won the 100 breast tonight in 1:10:44. 15 year-old Claire Donan<\/strong> took second in 1:11.00, dropping 0.82s from her seed time and a full 1.25s from her previous best time coming into the meet.<\/p>\n

Dynamo Swim Club took the podium in the 100 breast as Basil Orr<\/strong> and Jackson Ford<\/strong> took first and third in 1:03.55 and 1:04.17. Austin Haney<\/strong> managed to out touch Ford for second with a 1:04.15.<\/p>\n
