2016 Winners: Beata Nelson & Grant Shoults<\/h2>\n

Beata Nelson<\/strong> finished her storied high school career at Verona Area\/Mount Hebron High School in Wisconsin with a public high school record in the 100 yard fly (51.62) as well as 12 individual and relay state titles. Following her graduation, Nelson took her talents to the University of Wisconsin, where she was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week (4x) and won an Honorable All-America mention award for the 200 medley relay.<\/p>\n

Grant Shoults<\/strong> was named Swimming World\u2019s Male High School Swimmer of the Year for the 2015-16 season. He set two national high school records, competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials and began his freshman year at Stanford.\u00a0In his freshman year Shoults earned his first Pac-12 Championship title in the 500 free and earned All-America honors in the 500 free, 1650 free, and 800 free relay.<\/p>\n
