Raab is one of the class of 2018&#8217;s top breaststrokers and will fill a bit of a gap for the Cardinal. Since moving from Pennsylvania after her freshman year, Raab has spent the past two years training with Nashville Aquatic Club.<\/p>\n<p>In her announcement on her Twitter Raab wrote,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Dreams really do come true! Looking forward to life on The Farm! Stanford Class of &#8217;22&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times are (SCY\/LCM):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 Breast 1:00.02\/ 1:07.92<\/li>\n<li>200 Breast 2:09.69\/ 2:26.83<\/li>\n<li>200 IM 1:58.67\/ 2:18.35<\/li>\n<li>200 Free 1:47.67\/ 2:03.94<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At NCAAs this year, it took a 59.81 to get a second swim in the 100 breaststroke and a 2:09.79 to make the B final in the 200 breaststroke. With her current lifetime bests, Raab would have snuck in to the 200 breast B final. Sophomore\u00a0<strong>Kim Williams\u00a0<\/strong>was the team&#8217;s lone breaststroke scorer, touching 13th in the 200. Raab and Williams will overlap for Williams&#8217; senior year.<\/p>\n<p>Raab follows in her mother\u00a0<strong>Jamie Rugless<\/strong>&#8216;s footsteps. She was an NCAA Champion at Stanford in the 1990s. The family has still had plenty of college swimming experience since then as her sister\u00a0<strong>Meaghan\u00a0<\/strong>has been a National point scorer for Georgia in her first three years there.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinter\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/stanford-snags-verbal-commit-from-indiana-sprinter-anya-goeders\/\" target=\"_blank\">Anya Goeders<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>has also verbally committed to the Class of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>After sweeping the\u00a0Junior National East breaststroke titles in 2015 Raab spoke to\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Allie Raab, Nashville (after 200 breast)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-2Ci-Fi4_ac?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Dreams really do come true!
