However, Weiss is not a rising senior, but rather a rising junior at Yorktown High School. The in-state breaststroker will not head to Bloomington until the fall of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Weiss had a great meet at this week&#8217;s Phillips 66 US Nationals. She took down her own Indiana 15-16 state record in the 200 breaststroke (2:30.07) en route to a seventh place finish in the B final. She won the B final of the 50 breaststroke (31.11) to qualify for the Junior World Team. Then Weiss clocked a 1:07.99 to finish second in the 100 breaststroke B final.<\/p>\n<p>In just her sophomore year Weiss has already knocked down\u00a0current Hoosier\u00a0<strong>Lilly King<\/strong>&#8216;s Indiana high school state record.<\/p>\n<p>Weiss&#8217;\u00a0best SCY times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast 59.37<\/li>\n<li>200 breast 2:11.96<\/li>\n<li>200 IM 2:01.84<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While filling\u00a0King&#8217;s relay role could be an extraordinary challenge, Weiss has two years to develop before she makes her college debut.
