Hungary’s\u00a0Kristof Milak<\/strong> posted a new World Junior, European Junior, and Championship Record in the 200 fly, while\u00a0Mona McSharry<\/strong> set a new Irish National Record in the 200 breast.<\/p>\n Anja Kesely<\/strong> of Hungary finished the individual events with a new championship record in the 1500 free.<\/p>\n Schedule of Events:<\/strong><\/p>\n Hit refresh for the latest results.<\/p>\n Nicolo’ Martinenghi<\/strong> of Italy delivered the fastest time of the evening in semi-finals of the men’s 50 breast. The World Junior Record holder in this event, Martinenghi cruised to an easy first place seed of 27.37, close to a full second ahead of the field.<\/p>\n Russia’s\u00a0Evgenii Somov<\/strong> grabbed the second place seed with a strong 28.29, followed by Italy’s\u00a0Alessandro Pinzuit<\/strong> and his time of 28.55.<\/p>\n Juri Dijkstra<\/strong> of the Netherlands added a fourth place seed time of 28.60, just ahead of Great Britain’s\u00a0Lewis Fraser’s\u00a0<\/strong>28.69.<\/p>\n Austria’s\u00a0Valentin Bayer<\/strong> (28.72), Ukraine’s\u00a0Mykyta Pomazan<\/strong> (28.75), and Great Britain’s\u00a0Oliver Crosby<\/strong> (28.78) rounded out the top eight who will compete in the final heat later tonight.<\/p>\n The Russian duo of\u00a0Daria Vaskina<\/strong> and\u00a0Polina Egorova<\/strong> led the charge in the semi-finals of the women’s 50 back. Vaskina delivered the top time of the semi-finals at a 28.18, tying fellow countrywoman\u00a0Daria Ustinova<\/strong>‘s<\/strong> 2014 record.
