Kalisz, the 2016 Olympic silver medalist in this event, was pleased with his swim. He was also excited for his training partners\u00a0<strong>Jay Litherland\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Gunnar Bentz<\/strong> for their performances.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Chase Kalisz 400 IM USA Nationals\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rMU0e_iSWNA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Litherland is also on the Worlds team after finishing second to Kalisz.
