Dressel has the option to swim that event in Budapest now after he finished second in the 100 free last night. This is promising for Dressel moving forward to the 50 free on Saturday, an event he did not make the Olympic team in last summer.<\/p>\n<p>Jones finished second at 23.27. The 33-year-old is looking to be in good shape to challenge for a spot on the Worlds team in the 50 free. <strong>Tim Phillips<\/strong> (23.37), <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> (23.42), <strong>Ryan Held<\/strong> (23.68), <strong>Giles Smith<\/strong> (23.73), <strong>Justin Lynch<\/strong> and <strong>Andrew Liang<\/strong> (23.77) all swam in the A-final.<\/p>\n<p>There has been a lot of hype over Dressel if he could produce his incredible NCAA career with a good long course meet. He has already picked up a spot on the Worlds team in the 100 free and showed his vintage 200 speed tonight with a sixth place finish in that final.
