THE top two men&#39;s teams took a hit in the latest TYR\/CSCAA Division I Dual Meet Poll following a weekend of losses.  California moved to the top spot with a win over previously second-ranked Arizona.  The Golden Bears just edged Pac 10 rival Stanford for the top spot garnering seven of twenty first-place votes.  The Cardinal was on top of six voter&#39;s while Auburn garnered the final seven first-place votes following wins over previously top-ranked Texas and fifth-ranked Florida.<\/p>\n<p>On the women&#39;s side Stanford retained the top spot after defeating Arizona 178-114.  The Cardinal collected twenty-three of thirty-two first place votes.  Georgia had six first place votes following wins over Texas and Tennessee while Southern California received the final three first-place votes.  In all, 62 women&#39;s and 51 men&#39;s teams garnered votes from members of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.  The next poll will be released February 17, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Division II<\/p>\n<p>While there were new number-two teams, the Drury University men&#39;s and women&#39;s swimming and diving teams retained their top spots in the latest TYR \/ CSCAA Division II College Swimming Poll.  On the men&#39;s side Missouri Science &#038; Tech moved past Grand Valley State into the number two spot while the UC-San Diego women moved past Ashland University for the number two spot.  Overall, 41 men&#39;s and 41 women&#39;s teams earned votes from members of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.  The next poll will be released February 12, 2011. <\/p>\n<p>Division III<\/p>\n<p>The Emory University women took back the top spot in the latest TYR \/CSCAA Division III Swimming &#038; Diving Poll.  The defending NCAA Champion Eagles edged Kenyon College for the number-one ranking it held at the start of the year.   On the men&#39;s side, Kenyon College maintained its previous ranking.  <\/p>\n<p>Carnegie Mellon&#39;s men jumped into the top ten for the first time this season while SUNY-Geneseo and Gustavus Adolphus made their first appearance in the women&#39;s polls.  Forty-nine men&#39;s and forty-six women&#39;s teams received votes from members of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
