Florida&#8217;s<strong> Christin Rockway<\/strong> and Michigan&#8217;s <strong>Ileah Doctor\u00a0<\/strong>have chosen to become Hoosiers in the fall of 2018.\u00a0They\u00a0join breaststroker\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/breaststroker-noelle-peplowski-verbally-commits-to-indiana-hoosiers\/\" target=\"_blank\">Noelle Peplowski<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in the class of 2022.<\/p>\n<h3>Christin Rockway<\/h3>\n<p>The Valrico, Florida native\u00a0swims for Tampa Bay Aquatics and is a rising senior at Tampa Catholic High School.<\/p>\n<p>Rockway told\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em>,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I chose Indiana because I fell in love with the fantastic culture the program has created, the friendliness of the team, and the innovative style of the coaching staff. I loved all they had to offer!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Rockway&#8217;s best SCY times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 IM 2:00.24<\/li>\n<li>400 IM 4:12.04<\/li>\n<li>200 Fly 1:57.66<\/li>\n<li>100 Back 55.93<\/li>\n<li>200 Back 1:57.47<\/li>\n<li>500 Free 4:46.80<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/bolles-sweeps-florida-1a-high-school-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Florida 1A State Championships<\/a> Rockway was runner up in the 500 freestyle. Rockway should make a splash for Indiana as well in her first season as a Hoosier. At the 2017 Big Ten Championships she would have been in the B final of the 400 IM and 200 fly and a 200 IM, 500 free, and 200 back C finalist. Her scoring potential gives the coaching staff options depending on which events she develops over the next few years.<\/p>\n<h3>Ileah Doctor<\/h3>\n<p>Doctor is a sprint freestyler and breaststroker who trains with East Grand Rapids Aquatics. Her best SCY times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 Breast 30.41<\/li>\n<li>100 Breast 1:02.60<\/li>\n<li>50 Free 22.73<\/li>\n<li>100 Free 51.01<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Doctor is a rising senior at East Grand Rapids High School. At the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/rockford-seaholm-east-grand-rapids-crowned-michigan-lower-peninsula-girls-high-school-state-champs\/\" target=\"_blank\"> 2016 Michigan High School Division 3 Lower Peninsula state championships<\/a> East Grand Rapids took home the state crown. Doctor was a key piece of that success. She was on the 200 medley and 200 freestyle division record setting relays. She also took down the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke division records.<\/p>\n<p>She said in her Instagram post, &#8220;I&#8217;m super excited to announce my commitment to Indiana University! Go Hoosiers!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At the 2017 Big Ten Championships Doctor would have been a 50 freestyle B finalist. She&#8217;s just on the edge of scoring in the 100 breaststroke as well.<\/p>\n<p>Doctor and Peplowski will both have a year to train with\u00a0<strong>Lilly Smith<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Commits: Indiana University has received two verbal commitments to the Class of 2022.
