The organization oversees all aquatic sports across Brazil, including swimming, water polo, and diving. The CBDA is set to hold their upcoming election tomorrow, Friday June 9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content-text__container theme-color-primary-first-letter\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">In a communication signed\u00a0by FINA Executive Director\u00a0<strong>Cornel Marculescu<\/strong>, the organization states that it cannot recognize the results of the election because they do not abide by CBDA or FINA rules. The memo was sent to\u00a0<strong>Gustavo Licks,\u00a0<\/strong>the current interim head of the Brazilian Federation. Nunes was removed from his post last year along with several other high ranking members of the organization after Brazilian police uncovered fraud and embezzlement activity within the organization. While Nunes had planned to run for his post again this year, he was officially imprisoned in April.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"content-text__container theme-color-primary-first-letter\"
