CESAR Cielo not only posted the top time in the semifinals of the 50 freestyle, but his 20.61 is now the fastest time of the year. Taking the second spot in semis was Marco Orsi of Italy with a 21.10. Fred Bousquet will be the third qualifier for the final with a 21.17.<\/p>\n<p>Luca Dotto (21.25), Steffen Deibler (21.25), Alain Bernard (21.26) and Sergey Fesikov (21.26) will definitely be in the final. Kyle Richardson of Australia and Josh Schneider of the United States will have a swim-off later this session to determine who will take the eighth spot after posting matching times of 21.29.<\/p>\n<p>About an hour after the semifinal heat, Schneider won the swim-off with a 21.19. He will take lane eight in the final, but will go in with the fourth-fastest time of the day.
