McLaughlin won the 200 butterfly in 2:10.35, leading\u00a0the race from start to finish.<\/p>\n<p>Texas teammates\u00a0<strong>Lauren Case\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Remedy Rule\u00a0<\/strong>battled it out for second. Case got her hand on the wall first, touching second after McLaughlin in 2:10.80. Rule finished third in 2:11.41.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth place went to Mexico&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Diana Luna Sanchez<\/strong> in 2:13.26. Luna Sanchez just touched out Venezuela&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Isabella Paez<\/strong>, who came in fourth in 2:13.36.<\/p>\n<p>Mexico&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maria Jose Mata Coco<\/strong> placed sixth in 2:13.51, while\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Casazza\u00a0<\/strong>of Georgia was seventh in 2:15.11.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maria Clara Roman Mantilla\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0Tiburones Tolima came in eighth in 2:15.24. His time of 1:56.60 was just ahead of Georgia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Pace Clark<\/strong>, who touched in 1:56.75.<\/p>\n<p>Third place went to Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jack Conger<\/strong> in 1:58.44. He was followed closely by Cal-Berkeley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mike Thomas<\/strong> in fourth place in 1:58.54.\u00a0<strong>Mick Litherland<\/strong> of Dynamo was fifth in 1:59.08.<\/p>\n<p>Mexico&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ramiro Ramirez Juarez<\/strong> finished sixth in 2:00.35. Cordes was just ahead of Georgia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicolas Fink<\/strong>, who placed second in 1:00.70.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong>, representing the Race Pace Club, was third in 1:01.46. Longhorn&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Will Licon<\/strong> was just behind in 1:01.58 for fourth place.<\/p>\n<p>Mexico&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Miguel De Lara Ojeda<\/strong> finished in fifth place in 1:01.83. He just out touched\u00a0<strong>Carlos Claverie<\/strong> of Cardinal Aquatics, who claimed sixth place in 1:01.86.<\/p>\n<p>Seventh place went to King&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Daniel Roy<\/strong> in 1:02.53. Second place went to 15 year old\u00a0<strong>Regan Smith<\/strong> of Riptide Swim Team, who touched in 1:01.01.<\/p>\n<p>North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caroline Baldwin<\/strong> was third in 1:01.15. She was followed by Cal-Berkeley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Amy Bilquist<\/strong>, who was fourth in 1:01.60.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hilary Caldwell<\/strong> of Island Swimming placed fifth in 1:01.85.\u00a0<strong>Hellen Moffit<\/strong>, also of North Carolina, came in sixth in 1:02.18. However,\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>of Cal-Berkeley got the win, beating out Tuscon Ford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matt Grevers<\/strong>. Murphy touched first in 53.48, the sixth fastest time in the world this year, while Grevers came in at 53.90.<\/p>\n<p>Third place went to\u00a0<strong>Grigory Tarasevich<\/strong> of Cardinal Aquatics in 54.16. Finishing second behind Cox was Hong Kong&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Siobhan Haughey<\/strong>, who swam to a time of 2:12.10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emma Barksdale<\/strong> of Gamecock Aquatics came in third place in 2:15.78. Mexico&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Monika Gonzalez-Hermosillo<\/strong> was just behind in fourth place in a time of 2:15.96. She was followed by\u00a0Emily Escobedo<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in 2:16.06 for fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Sixth place went to Island Swimming&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sarah Darcel<\/strong> in 2:16.43.
