THE December issue of <i>Swimming World Magazine<\/i> of each year almost always features the world and American record progressions from the previous year.  This year might be the last time the feature takes at least a page in the magazine.<\/p>\n<p>The progressions listed in the December 2010 issue are world and American records set in long course, short course meters and short course yards spanning Dec. 1, 2009 to Oct. 31, 2010.  This year&#39;s feature also includes information on some of the American records set after Oct. 1, 2009 that USA Swimming chose not to ratify due to a domestic ban on techsuits.
