For more information about Agon, visit their website <a href=\"https:\/\/agonswim.com\/\">AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n<p>This afternoon Oak Ridge won the 2017\u00a0California High School boys state champions at Clovis Olympic Swim Complex by a solid margin.\u00a0<strong>Bryce Mefford\u00a0<\/strong>picked up two top seeds in yesterday&#8217;s prelims and today he took home a state title and one runner up finish in addition to two relay victories.<\/p>\n<p>Full results available <a href=\"http:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2017-california-high-school-state-championship-results-high-school-2017-05-19.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>200 Medley Relay<\/h3>\n<p>Oak Ridge defended their top seed in meet record setting fashion.\u00a0<strong>Bryce Mefford<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ben Dillard<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Colby Mefford<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Colin Reeve\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:30.08, lowering the 1:30.45 set by Northgate in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>St. Francis moved up from their fourth place prelims time to second in 1:32.46 with the team of\u00a0<strong>Andy Huang<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Edward Tay<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andreas Nybo<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Nathan Puentes<\/strong>. Sancov was first to the 50, but Mefford led for the next 100 yards. Sancov used a 23.61 in the final 50 yards to run down Mefford who closed in a 24.35. Liang cleared his old time, stopping the clock in 4:21.89 today. Foothill&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Calvin David\u00a0<\/strong>beat him to the wall, touching in 4:21.66. Calvin held the lead for the whole race, ahead by nearly two seconds with 100 yards to go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lleyton Plattell\u00a0<\/strong>of Amador Valley earned third. Mefford led off in a 19.90, a time that would have won the 50 freestyle and tied the state record.<\/p>\n<p>Sancov,\u00a0<strong>Zach Ledesma<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Connor Seip<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Andrew Rodriguez\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 1:22.93 for silver for Northgate.
