Last year the team won the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay en route to the team championship. The team is lead by a number of strong swimmers who hold top three seeds in a number of events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Carr\u00a0<\/strong>is top seed in the 50 freestyle, over a second ahead of the next fastest swimmer. The senior also leads the way in the 500 freestyle, showing impressive range. Junior\u00a0<strong>Kyle Leach\u00a0<\/strong>is the second seed in the 200 freestyle and enters the meet seeded third in the 100 butterfly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jerry Birnbaum\u00a0<\/strong>holds the second spot in the 100 backstroke. The team won both freestyle relays in 2016 but this year they have top seeds in all three relay events.\u00a0The team enters the meet with a few top three seeds.<\/p>\n<p>Junior\u00a0<strong>Danny Kovac\u00a0<\/strong>is the second seed in the 100 backstroke and third in the 100 butterfly.\u00a0<strong>Matt Geraghty\u00a0<\/strong>is third in the 100 free. Freshman\u00a0<strong>Josh Pales\u00a0<\/strong>is the 100 breaststroke&#8217;s third seed.<\/p>\n<p>Fairview senior\u00a0<strong>Michael Zarian<\/strong>\u00a0leads the way in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly.\u00a0Denver South&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Keegan Bundy\u00a0<\/strong>looks to dominate the sprint freestyle events. He&#8217;s the top seed in the 50 and 100 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Broomfield freshman\u00a0<strong>Harrison Lierz\u00a0<\/strong>will look to make a statement for the underclassman. He&#8217;s the fastest entrant in the 500 freestyle and second seed in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Columbine&#8217;s sophomore\u00a0<strong>Gavin Olson\u00a0<\/strong>is the fastest swimmer entered in the 100 backstroke.
