For more information about Agon, visit their website <a href=\"https:\/\/agonswim.com\/\">AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n<p>While not as record heavy as some CIF Section Championships this weekend, the CIF North Coast Championship was still full of fast swimming.<\/p>\n<h3>Women<\/h3>\n<p>The Monte Vista women dominated the meet, finishing with a total of 313 points. Campolindo scored 195 to finish second and Miramonte was third with 152.5 points.<\/p>\n<p>Monte Vista swept the relays en route to the championship. The team of\u00a0<strong>Abriana Howard<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zoie Hartman<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Makenna Turner<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Gillian Flath\u00a0<\/strong>opened the meet with a 1:42.51 in the 200 medley relay.\u00a0<strong>Isabella Barattolo\u00a0<\/strong>teamed up with Flath,\u00a0<strong>Alyssa Hornbuckle<\/strong>, and Hartman for a 1:34.19 in the 200 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<p>Granada&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Miranda Heckman\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 1:47.70 to win the 200 freestyle. Campolindo&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sophia Cavalli\u00a0<\/strong>(1:49.76) also cracked 1:50. Heckman also picked up 500 freestyle gold in 4:47.13. Also well under five minutes was\u00a0<strong>Daniel Hawkins\u00a0<\/strong>(4:49.95).<\/p>\n<p>Monte Vista sophomore\u00a0<strong>Zoie Hartman\u00a0<\/strong>(2:00.05) dominated the 200 IM. She also won the 100 breaststroke by nearly a second with a 1:00.59.\u00a0<strong>Halle Morris\u00a0<\/strong>of Terra Linda (1:01.44) followed.<\/p>\n<p>The top five women in the 50 free all finished under 24 seconds. San Ramon Valley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexa Fusari\u00a0<\/strong>was first to the wall in 23.42. College Prep&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katherine Cane\u00a0<\/strong>(23.62) earned runner up honors while Miramonte&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sophia Kosturos\u00a0<\/strong>(23.66) rounded out the podium.<\/p>\n<p>An entirely different trio emerged on the 100 freestyle podium. San Francisco U&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lucy Daro\u00a0<\/strong>led the way in 51.15.\u00a0<strong>Isabella Barrattolo\u00a0<\/strong>of Monte Vista (51.42) and\u00a0<strong>Claire Birchenough\u00a0<\/strong>of Redwood (51.48) touched third.<\/p>\n<p>Monte Vista&#8217;s Turner edged Acalanes&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Emily Lo\u00a0<\/strong>53.69 to 53.76 for the 100 butterfly victory. Her teammate Howard topped the 100 backstroke (55.14) and Kosturos (55.48) was runner up.<\/p>\n<p>Turner, Barattolo,\u00a0<strong>Jenna Seaman<\/strong>, and Howard ended the meet with a dominating 3:27.54 in the 400 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<h3>Men<\/h3>\n<p>Campolindo won the meet by a narrow margin, scoring 209.5 points. San Ramon Valley was second with 198 points. Just six points back was Redwood.<\/p>\n<p>Campolindo won one relay while Northgate took home two relay titles. Campolindo&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jolen Griffin<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mason Loyet<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Max Cruz<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Carson Van Farowe\u00a0<\/strong>posted a dominating 1:31.48 in the 200 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>Northgate&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexei Sancov\u00a0<\/strong>obliterated the 200 freestyle field, touching in 1:33.93, just two tenths shy of\u00a0<strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong>&#8216;s Meet Record of 1:33.70. That was also just six tenths off the 1:33.30 National Public School record set by <strong>Drew Kibbler\u00a0<\/strong>in February.\u00a0Sancov also turned in a 4:22.43 to claim 500 freestyle gold. Foothill&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Calvin David\u00a0<\/strong>(4:24.15) was on his heels.<\/p>\n<p>Terra Linda&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nathaniel Cunnan\u00a0<\/strong>sprinted to a 20.41 for the 50 free title. In the 100 free he touched third in 45.15 behind Foothill&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jonah Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>(44.38) and San Ramon Valley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Teagan Cheney\u00a0<\/strong>(45.13). Cooper won the 100 backstroke by over a second, posting a new meet record of 46.96. The previous mark was a 47.65 swum by\u00a0<strong>Sven Campbell\u00a0<\/strong>in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Amador Valley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Chris Jhong\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 1:48.73 to win the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>It was all\u00a0<strong>Jolen Griffin\u00a0<\/strong>in the 100 butterfly. The Campolindo senior clocked a 47.96, the only swimmer under 50 seconds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lyon Zhang\u00a0<\/strong>of Mission San Jose out touched Alhambra&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tony Moore\u00a0<\/strong>in the 100 breaststroke. The two finished in 56.24 and 56.27, respectively.\u00a0<strong>Cole Reznick\u00a0<\/strong>of Amador Valley was just behind in third with a 56.56.<\/p>\n<p>Northgate&#8217;s first relay victory was the 200 freestyle relay. Sancov,\u00a0<strong>Zach Ledesma<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Connor Seip<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Andrew Rodriguez\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:23.94, just faster than San Ramon Valley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matthew Muaddi<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Carl Taibl<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Spencer Daily<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Teagan Cheney\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:24.17.<\/p>\n<p>The same Northgate quartet pulled out another tight one in the 400 freestyle relay, this time over Campolindo. Northgate finished in 3:04.54.
