APPLETON, Wisconsin, November 6. MEGAN Kraft led the Warhawk women's swim team to a 225-67 win at Lawrence University Saturday.<\/p>\n
Kraft won three events. She was first in the 200 individual medley in 2:12.94, first in the 100 backstroke in 1:01.65, and first in the 200 backstroke in 2:11.22. Her time in the backstroke set the UW-W record, breaking the previous mark of 2:13.53 set by Courtney Jenkins February 13, 2010, and her performance in both backstrokes led 1-2-3 sweeps of the events for the Warhawks.<\/p>\n
Three more Warhawks were two-time winners. Randi Osgood touched first in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.26) and the 100 butterfly (1:05.60). Lauren Lanphere the 200 butterfly (2:20.74) and 200 breaststroke (2:34.92). And Molly McElligot captured both diving events, scoring 210.0 on the one meter board and 182.25 on the three meter.<\/p>\n
Katie Hausmann won the 50 freestyle (57.40) for the Warhawks, and Nicole Kohnke won the 100 freestyle (57.40).<\/p>\n
Hausmann and Kohnke were joined by Megan Kohnke, and Kaitlyn Kincade on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:45.94).<\/p>\n
UW-W will swim at UW-La Crosse November 20.<\/p>\n
