While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/china-tops-overall-rankings-at-2017-diving-world-series-finale\/\" target=\"_blank\">China dominated the recent FINA Diving World Series 2017<\/a>, they have been less dominant on the Grand Prix circuit. Divers from Colombia, Great Britain and Japan also earned gold medals. Mandatory Credit: Rob Schumacher-USA TODAY Sports\" width=\"1024\" height=\"659\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/synchronized-diving-pan-am-games-2015-1-1024x659.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/synchronized-diving-pan-am-games-2015-1-533x343.jpg 533w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-143198\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo Courtesy: Rob Schumacher\/USA Today Sports Images<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Divers from China, Colombia, Great Britain and Japan won at least one gold medal this weekend in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where the third meet of the \u00a0was held.<\/p>\n<p>Latin American <strong>Sebastian Morales<\/strong> of Colombia proved the strongest in the men&#8217;s 3m with 469.70 points, while China&#8217;s <strong>Liu Chengming<\/strong> (462.30) was second and <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> (USA, 424.00) third.<\/p>\n<p>In the 10m, it was Great Britain&#8217;s <strong>Matthew Lee<\/strong> grabbing the gold at stake with 429.95, while China pocketed silver and bronze with <strong>Xu Zewei<\/strong> (484.85) and <strong>Tai Xiaohu<\/strong> (408.95) respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Great Britain was atop of the 3m synchro with <strong>Freddy Woodward<\/strong> \/ <strong>James Heatly<\/strong> (372.72), as 3m winner Morales placed second with partner <strong>Alejandro Arias Munoz<\/strong> in 361.17. New Zealand&#8217;s duet <strong>Anton Down-Jenkins<\/strong> \/ <strong>Liam Stone<\/strong> completed the podium with 345.60.<\/p>\n<p>Diving powerhouse China came back strong with a win in the men&#8217;s 10m (<strong>Xu Zewei<\/strong> \/ <strong>Tai Xiaohu<\/strong>, 421.08), defeating USA&#8217;s\u00a0 <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> \/ <strong>Ryan Hawkins<\/strong> (355.41) and the Colombians <strong>Juan Sebastian Reyes<\/strong> \/ <strong>Erick Caicedo Ruiz<\/strong> (353.58).<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s breakthrough continued in the women&#8217;s competition with four victories, 3m, 10m and both synchronised events (detailed results below) as well as a silver medal in the 3m.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s mixed pair <strong>Nishida Reo<\/strong> \/ <strong>Hazuki Miyamoto<\/strong> topped the 3m with 245.04 and <strong>Matthew Lee<\/strong> \/ <strong>Robyn Birch<\/strong> (GBR, 281.76) won the 10m version of the mixed event.<\/p>\n<p>France, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the USA were the other nations on the podium in San Juan.<\/p>\n<h3>Medallists in San Juan<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Men<\/strong><br \/>\n3m &#8211; 1.
