The NC State swimming and diving team hosted its annual team banquet April 29th, where it celebrated its historic 2016-17 season.<\/p>\n
The team gathered with friends and family to recognize and honor the accomplishments achieved during one of its most successful campaigns in program history. The\u00a0men’s season was highlighted by a tremendous post-season, where the team won\u00a0its\u00a0third-straight ACC title and tied its highest ever NCAA finish, placing\u00a0fourth. The women’s\u00a0squad\u00a0clinched its first ACC title since 1980, ending Virginia’s nine year streak, and placed seventh at the NCAA championships to earn its highest finish ever.<\/p>\n
The coaching staff also announced the team captains for the 2017-18\u00a0season.
