This meet has been a cornerstone event of the club for more than 25 years. UltraSwim has been host to Olympic athletes from around the world and has seen swimmers qualify for Olympic Trials, make national swim teams and even set a world record. SwimMAC is proud to welcome the best athletes and coaches from around the world to Charlotte next month.<\/p>\n<p>UltraSwim will take place from <span data-term=\"goog_1509537577\">June 1-4<\/span>, and will be held at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center (MCAC), 800 E. M.L.K. Boulevard. The meet will include a shoot-out style format for the sprint events of all four strokes, non-Olympic distance events, and a short timeline <span data-term=\"goog_1509537578\">on Sunday<\/span> to allow teams to begin their travels home. The meet is open to USA Swimming registered swimmers (or other FINA membership) who have at least one Futures cut. Please find a link to the meet sanction\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/swimnc.com\/ncs_data\/images\/NC17114_SwimMAC_Ultraswim_R1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last four years we have been honored to host one of USA Swimming\u2019s Grand Prix events,\u201d said SwimMAC Head Coach <strong>Terry<\/strong> <strong>Fritch<\/strong>, referring to the Arena Grand Prix and the Arena Pro Series meets that the club has hosted. \u201cWe are very excited to return to our roots and bring back this prestigious meet that has always been so well attended by top level athletes and coaches from around the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Numerous college teams from around the southeast have already committed to this year\u2019s UltraSwim. They include swimmers from Virginia Tech, Tennessee, University of South Carolina, Duke and NC State.
