THE Lock Haven University swim team kicked off its 2010-11 season tonight as the Lady Eagles hosted the Haven Quad.<\/p>\n<p>LHU was quite impressive on their first day of competition this season.<\/p>\n<p>Lock Haven head coach Andy Waeger was quite pleased with the team&#39;s effort and can&#39;t wait for tomorrow&#39;s competition.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the way for The Haven was Britt Rehrig (Wilmington, Del.\/Charter School of Wilmington). The sophomore and returning All-American won the 100 yard breaststroke (1:08.08) and took second in the 50 freestyle (24.89). Both times are Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship qualifying marks.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Eagles 400 yard freestyle was second overall and Lock Haven is in third overall after Day 1 competition.<\/p>\n<p>Lock Haven is back in action tomorrow as the Haven Quad meet continues at Zimmerli Pool.<\/p>\n<p><b> The above article is a press release submitted to Swimming World Magazine.
