The session begins at 5 p.m. local time (same as PT), and live coverage will be available on\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/17-4-13_thursday-finals.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to view the full heat sheet.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The session kicks off with the 100 free featuring Olympic gold medalists\u00a0<strong>Simone Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Nathan Adrian<\/strong>. Manuel was the top seed in the women&#8217;s event while Adrian qualified third behind\u00a0<strong>Joao De Lucca\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Cristian Quintero<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madisyn Cox\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Chase Kalisz<\/strong> are the top seeds in the women&#8217;s and men&#8217;s 200 breast, respectively, and Olympians\u00a0<strong>Kelsi Worrell\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Tom Shields\u00a0<\/strong>will be in the lane for for the 100 fly finals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katie Ledecky\u00a0<\/strong>will compete against\u00a0<strong>Leah Smith\u00a0<\/strong>in the women&#8217;s 400 free,\u00a0and Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marcelo Acosta\u00a0<\/strong>has the top seed in the men&#8217;s 400 free.<\/p>\n<p>The only A-final scratch came in the men&#8217;s 400 free, where eight-place finisher\u00a0<strong>Matias Koski<\/strong> pulled out. Koski will, however, swim in the B-final of the 100 free.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lia Neal\u00a0<\/strong>scratched out of the women&#8217;s 100 fly C-final to focus on the 100 free, while\u00a0<strong>Mallory Comerford\u00a0<\/strong>will swim the 100 free and 100 fly A-finals but not the B-final of the 400 free, for which she qualified tenth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The heat sheets have been posted for the first night of finals at the arena Pro Swim Series meet in Mesa, Ariz.
