She was followed by fellow Olympian\u00a0<strong>Chantal Van Landeghem\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kayla Sanchez<\/strong>, who finished third in the 200 free one night earlier and qualified for the World Championships in the 800 free relay. Van Landeghem and Sanchez tied for second in 54.65.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadians won bronze in the women&#8217;s 400 free relay at the Olympics last year, and there will be a quick field in the final seeking berths on this year&#8217;s squad, including\u00a0<strong>Michelle Toro\u00a0<\/strong>(54.80),\u00a0<strong>Rebecca Smith<\/strong> (54.97),\u00a0<strong>Sandrine Mainville\u00a0<\/strong>(54.99),\u00a0<strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong> (55.03) and\u00a0<strong>Katerine Savard\u00a0<\/strong>(55.18).
