All of Canada&#8217;s individual Olympic medalists from 2016,\u00a0<strong>Penny Oleksiak<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kylie Masse\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Hilary Caldwell<\/strong>, are scheduled to attend.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2017-canadian-swimming-trials-psych-sheet-international-elite-2017-04-06.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Check out the full psych sheet by clicking here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oleksiak is seeded first in both the 100 free and 100 fly, second in the 200 free, fourth in the 50 fly and 13th in the 50 free. Masse is tops in the field in both the 50 and 100 back and is third in the 200 IM and 200 back, and Caldwell is first in the 200 back, third in the 100 back and 10th in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sydney Pickrem<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kierra Smith<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Alexia Zevnik<\/strong>, all runners-up in an\u00a0an individual event at the women&#8217;s NCAA championships, will be competing for a spot on their country&#8217;s World Championships Team, but\u00a0<strong>Noemie Thomas<\/strong>, an Olympian last year who swims for Cal, is not entered.<\/p>\n<p>Pickrem (Texas A&amp;M) finished second in the 400 IM in Indianapolis, while Smith (Minnesota) came in just behind\u00a0<strong>Lilly King\u00a0<\/strong>in the 200 breast. Zevnik (NC State) finished second in the 200 back.<\/p>\n<p>Also not entered is\u00a0<strong>Santo Condorelli<\/strong>, a Canadian national who had a quiet performance at the men&#8217;s NCAA meet but was fourth in the 100 free in Rio. In his stead,\u00a0<strong>Yuri Kisil<\/strong> is the top seed in both the 50 (22.23) and 100 free (48.28).<\/p>\n<p>Several notable Canadians have retired since Rio, including distance stars\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/canadian-olympian-ryan-cochrane-announces-retirement\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Ryan Cochrane<\/strong><\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ncaa-champion-and-olympic-medalist-brittany-maclean-retires\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Brittany MacLean<\/strong><\/a>, as well as butterflyer\u00a0<strong>Audrey Lacroix<\/strong>, who has been representing Canada internationally since 2004.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Swimming Canada has posted the psych sheet for its World Championship Trials, scheduled to take place April 6-9 in Victoria, British Columbia.
