SHORTLY after his star swimmer posted the fastest time in the world in the 100 freestyle leading off the USA&#39;s 400 free relay at the Pan Pacific championships, Bob Bowman talked exclusively with SwimmingWorld.TV producer Garrett McCaffrey about some of the issues facing Michael Phelps&#39; training leading up to the meet and how the two move forward toward their goals for the 2012 Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>Bowman speaks openly about Phelps&#39; missed workouts in the months following the 2009 world championships, Phelps&#39; decision to fully devote himself to training in May and the performances of Elizabeth Pelton and Allison Schmitt.
