IT was a case of &quot;Different Day, Same Story,&quot; as Day Three of the YMCA Short Course Masters Nationals drew to a close on Saturday, April 28.  <\/p>\n<p>Thirty-five Y Masters records&#8211;one fewer than on Day Two&#8211;bit the dust on the third day of competition in the Sunshine State.  This time, though, it was the men doing the lion&#39;s share of the record-breaking, notching 20 Y marks.  The women chipped in with 15.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Groselle, 47, had the most productive day, swimming three events and setting three YMCA marks: in the 50 free, 100 breast and 100 IM for men 45-49.  Six other swimmers notched two records apiece on the day: Jayne Bruner, Flo Carr, Billie Burrill, Dave Costill, Paul Hutinger and Bob Merrick.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the Y marks set today also bettered the USMS records.  Flo Carr scored with two.  Her 35.76 for the women&#39;s 75-79 50 yard freestyle bettered the USMS mark of 36.17 held by Lenore Wingard for 14 years.  In the 100 IM, Carr&#39;s 1:41.51 dipped under the USMS record of 1:41.96 set by Lois Kivi-Nochman last year.  Dave Costill had the other USMS mark.
