AUSTRALIA&#39;s Emily Seebohm posted a splendid time in the women&#39;s 100 back for the victory at the Pan Pacific Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Seebohm raced to the win with a strong time of 59.45 for the win, just off her top-ranked season best of 59.21 set at the Australian Nationals back in March. The win returned the Pan Pac title to the Aussies for the first time since Dyana Calub won the title with a 1:01.51 in 1999. Natalie Coughlin won in 2002, while Hanae Ito took the 2006 crown.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#39;s Aya Terakawa finished second in 59.59 to improve upon her fourth-ranked season best of 59.60 from the Japan Open in June, while Coughlin finished a surprising third in 59.70. That performance still bettered her sixth-ranked season best of 59.89.  U.S. teammate Missy Franklin earned fourth overall in 1:00.15.<\/p>\n<p>Canada&#39;s Julia Wilkinson finished fifth in 1:00.44, while Australia&#39;s Sophie Edington took sixth in 1:00.54.
