The meet is being held in the Long Center Pool at the Doyle Aquatic Center in Clearwater, Florida. The meet will take place from March 21-March 25 and will be conducted in a 16 &amp; Under\/Open format.\u00a0Full results are available on Meet Mobile: 2017 Dolfin ISCA Junior Championship Cup.<\/p>\n<p>The Mason Manta Rays made a statement on night three by winning six events overall and finishing one-two-three in the women&#8217;s 50 free. The Rays now sit atop the women&#8217;s team scores with 233 points. They are followed by Virginia Gators (196.50) and Ohio State Swim Club (132). The Gators are leading the men&#8217;s meet with 262 points followed by OSSC (195.5) and the Rays (186). The Gators have a 39.5 point lead over the Rays in the combined scores with two days of competition remaining.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/emma-muzzy-wins-three-on-night-two-of-isca-dolfin-jr-national-cup\/\" target=\"_blank\">After the Rays&#8217; Foster siblings led the way in last night&#8217;s competition<\/a><\/span>, all three were back in action tonight. <strong>Carson Foster<\/strong>, 15, started off the night by winning the 16 &amp; Under 200 back in a new meet record time of 1:44.30. This gives him the second-fastest time nationwide this season for 15 year olds in this event. His older brother, <strong>Jacob Foster<\/strong>, claimed the 16 &amp; Under 500 free in a 4:24.54. On the women&#8217;s side, <strong>Hannah Foster<\/strong> (23.51) was joined by teammates <strong>Ashley Volpenheim<\/strong> (22.89) and <strong>Lauren Olson<\/strong> (23.41) to take the top three spots in the 50 free, sweeping 28 points for the Rays.<\/p>\n<p>At just 14 years of age, teammate <strong>Adam Chaney<\/strong> put on a performance in the 16 &amp; Under 50 freestyle, winning the event in 20.79. He was the only swimmer under the age of 16 in both the A and B finals. 15-year-old <strong>Cora Dupre<\/strong> swam her 50 in similar fashion, as she was the only swimmer in the 16 &amp; Under event to break 23 seconds. Her winning time of 22.84 clipped the meet record of 22.86 set in 2015. Additionally, 1,650 champion\u00a0<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/allison-bloebaum-greg-reed-win-big-on-night-one-at-isca-dolfin-jr-national-cup\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Allison Bloebaum<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0doubled up on distance events by winning the open 500 free in 4:47.91<span style=\"color: #000000;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Grosse Point&#8217;s<strong> Alexis Wenger<\/strong> won the 16 &amp; Under 50 breast crushing the meet record with a 28.67. OSSC&#8217;s <strong>Janessa Mathews<\/strong> was a close second in 28.96 while Empire&#8217;s <strong>Josephine Panitz<\/strong> took third in 29.32. Potomac&#8217;s <strong>Holly Jansen<\/strong> broke the open record with a time of 28.33. SWAT&#8217;s <strong>Lauren Stingler<\/strong> was also under the previous record in 28.45 and Enfinty&#8217;s <strong>Makenna Markert<\/strong> took third in 29.22.<\/p>\n<p>ODAC&#8217;s <strong>Patrick Lacore<\/strong> kept the trend going as he also established a new meet record in the 16 &amp; Under 50 breast with a time of 25.66. West Chicago&#8217;s <strong>Garrett Clarson<\/strong> took second in 25.98 Middle Tennessee&#8217;s <strong>Jarel Dillard<\/strong> was third in 26.35. OSSC&#8217;s <strong>Jason Mathews<\/strong> rounded out the sprint breatstroke victors by winning the open event in 25.19. Potomac&#8217;s <strong>Gianmichel D&#8217;Alessandro<\/strong> took runner-up honors in 25.69 followed by Shawmut&#8217;s <strong>Mitchell Gariepy<\/strong> in 25.73.<\/p>\n<p>The Gator women proved their dominance once again in the 16 &amp; Under 200 back as <strong>Emma Muzzy<\/strong> went four-for-four winning the 200 back in 1:53.38. This was nearly a three second drop from her own meet record set last year and puts her second in the national rankings. Teammate <strong>Olivia Bray<\/strong> tied for third in a 1:58.01 with NBAC&#8217;s <strong>Lauren Poole<\/strong>. NBAC teammate <strong>Easop Lee<\/strong> claimed second with a 1:55.70. This was almost a four second drop for the 16 year old. Ridgefield&#8217;s <strong>Marcella Maguire<\/strong> claimed her second event of the week taking tonight&#8217;s open 200 back in 1:54.64. She was followed by Tide&#8217;s <strong>Callie Dickinson<\/strong> (1:56.07) and Quest&#8217;s <strong>Camryn Curry<\/strong> (1:59.58).<\/p>\n<p>Gator <strong>Noah Bowers<\/strong> (1:46.57) and St. Croix&#8217;s <strong>Shane Blinkman<\/strong> (1:47.37) continued their impressive weeks by rounding out the podium in the 16 &amp; Under 200 back. But the Fosters were not the only siblings in action tonight as Quest&#8217;s <strong>Clark<\/strong> (1:41.31) and <strong>Ethan Beach<\/strong> (1:44.36) took first and second, respectively in the open 200 back. Both men were under the previous meet record of 1:45.47 set by Shawmut&#8217;s <strong>Shawn Nee<\/strong> in 2014. Ridgefield&#8217;s <strong>Kieran Smith<\/strong> was third in 1:45.52.<\/p>\n<p>The 16 &amp; Under Rays sprint stars of Dupre and Chaney were succeeded by <strong>Alexandra Moderski<\/strong> (23.07) and <strong>Whittney Hamilton<\/strong> (23.11) on the women&#8217;s side and <strong>Cason Wilburn<\/strong> (20.82) and<strong> Lucas Farrar<\/strong> (20.92) on the men&#8217;s. <strong>Daniel Krueger<\/strong> (19.84), <strong>Benjamin Sugar<\/strong> (20.53) and <strong>Corey Shepard<\/strong> (20.61) took the top three spots in the men&#8217;s Open 50. Coming in to the meet with a 20.00, this was Krueger&#8217;s first time under 20 and gives him the second spot in the national rankings for his age.<\/p>\n<p>NBAC&#8217;s Lee was at it again in the 500, winning the 16 &amp; Under event in a blazing meet-record time of 4:41.91. She was followed by Gator&#8217;s <strong>Caroline Kulp<\/strong> (4:46.12) and OCCS&#8217; <strong>Emily Hetzer<\/strong> (4:47.23). Bloebaum was followed by <strong>Danielle Hepler<\/strong> (4:49.11) and <strong>Madison Hartigan<\/strong> (4:52.85) in the open event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brennan Doss<\/strong> took second in the 16 &amp; Under 500 in 4:27.61 while <strong>Nicholas Lawson<\/strong> was third in 4:28.45. Clark Beach picked up one more win tonight in the open 500 (4:21.47) and was followed by <strong>Greg Reed<\/strong> (4:22.84) and <strong>Theodore Smith<\/strong> (4:24.47).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2017 ISCA Dolfin Jr. National Cup is off and running once again.
