{"id":247436,"date":"2017-03-18T18:37:44","date_gmt":"2017-03-19T01:37:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=247436"},"modified":"2017-03-19T17:25:11","modified_gmt":"2017-03-20T00:25:11","slug":"247436-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/247436-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Denison Diver Max Levy Earns Second NCAA Championship Title at Division III Championships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2017 NCAA Division III National\u00a0Championships are coming to a close and Denison Diver Max Levy has had quite the senior meet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Three-Meter Diving<\/h2>\n<p><strong>NCAA Record:<\/strong> 645.70 &#8211; Connor Dignan, Denison (2014)<br \/>\n<strong>2016 Champion:<\/strong> 533.75 &#8211; Samuel Randall (SUNY-Geneseo)<br \/>\nDenison senior <strong>Max Levy<\/strong> doubled on 2017 NCAA Championship titles after also winning men&#8217;s one-meter two days ago. He was followed by NYU&#8217;s <strong>Connor Brission<\/strong>, the sophomore who took third on one-meter, which bumped NYU up to fifth from seventh in the overall team rankings with one event to go.<\/p>\n<p>SUNY Fredonia&#8217;s <strong>Arron Carlson<\/strong> was third with 547.35 points after placing fourth on one-meter.<\/p>\n<p>Each with one diver a piece, Rowan&#8217;s <strong>John Morris<\/strong> and Tufts&#8217; <strong>Matthew Rohrer<\/strong> kept their teams at tenth and ninth place, respectively.
