Michalak touched the wall in 48.44 to take down\u00a0<strong>Patri Castro Ortega&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>NCAA record of 48.54 from last year&#8217;s meet. Michalak will have one more swim at this meet as a part of West Florida&#8217;s 400 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>In 2nd was Wingate&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexis Divelbiss<\/strong> in 49.32, here third runner-up finish after grabbing 2nd in the 200 and 400 IM earlier in the meet. Kusch had previously won the 200 IM and 200 butterfly, setting an NCAA record in the latter event.<\/p>\n<p>In 2nd was Delta State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mattia Schirru\u00a0<\/strong>with a 43.31, while freshman\u00a0<strong>Lajos Budai\u00a0<\/strong>ended up 3rd in 43.33.
