The men and women of Gator Swim Club posted top finishes on day three of Speedo Sectionals in Plantation.<\/p>\n
Georgia-Mae Hohmann<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club took first in the 100 back with a 1:03.59. Mabel Zavaros<\/strong> of Oakville Aquatic Club\u00a0finished second in 1:04.37 and Talia Bates<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club finished third in 1:04.65.<\/p>\n On the men’s side, Corey Main<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club won in 55.68. His teammate Jian Wang<\/strong> finished second in 58.15 and Willie Davis<\/strong> of Bolles School Sharks took third in 59.22.<\/p>\n Next up was the women’s 50 breast, where Patricia Casellas<\/strong> of Azura Florida Aquatic took first in 33.40. Nicole Hunnewell<\/strong> took second in 33.86 and Chade Nersicio<\/strong> of East Coast Aquatic Club\u00a0finished third in 34.43.<\/p>\n Rafael Van Leeuwarde<\/strong> won the men’s race in 29.16, followed by Izaak Bastian<\/strong> of Saint Andrew’s Swimming\u00a0in 29.75. In third was Jabari Ramsey of Florida Elite Swimming\u00a0in 30.09.<\/p>\n Nersicio won the women’s 50 fly in 28.22. Kennady Kilger<\/strong> of Oakville Aquatic Club\u00a0finished second in 28.35 and Eriana Temperino<\/strong> of East Coast Aquatic Club\u00a0touched third in 28.57.<\/p>\n Runar Borgen<\/strong> of Performance Aquatics\u00a0touched first in the men’s race in 24.94. In second\u00a0was Sean Campsie<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club in 25.06 and in third was Marcos Lavado<\/strong> of Azura Florida Aquatic in 25.34.<\/p>\n Isabel Ivey<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club won the women’s 200 IM in a 2:16.92. She was followed by\u00a0Kathleen Golding<\/strong> of Southern Florida Aquatic Club in 2:17.69 and Zavaros in 2:20.34.<\/p>\n Mack Darragh<\/strong> of Oakville Aquatic Club touched first for the men in 2:04.86. Nikita Denisyako<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club took second in 2:05.11 and Julio Horrego<\/strong> of Hurricane Swim Club\u00a0touched third in 2:08.38.<\/p>\n Golding took first in the 50 free in a 26.24. She was followed by Bates in a 26.34 and Margaret Gholston<\/strong> of RACE took third in 26.56.<\/p>\n Main won the men’s race in a 23.06. In second was Davis and Runar Borgen<\/strong> of Performance Aquatics\u00a0who tied in 23.67.<\/p>\n Ivey won the women’s 400 free in a 4:19.38. She was followed by Kensey McMahon<\/strong> of Bolles School Sharks in 4:20.18 and Mary Smutny<\/strong> of AquaKids Sharks Swim Team\u00a0in 4:20.52.<\/p>\n Lavado won the men’s 400 in 4:00.45. In second place was Michael Petrides<\/strong> of Kamehameha Swim Club\u00a0in 4:07.04 and in third was Coleman Kramer<\/strong> of Saint Edwards Aquatics\u00a0in 4:07.31.<\/p>\n The Gator Swim Club squad of Hohmann, Ivey, Bates and Yekaterina Aslanidi<\/strong> won the women’s 400 medley relay in 4:21.63. Pine Crest Swimming took second in 4:22.90 and North Palm Beach Swim Club touched third in 4:26.40.<\/p>\n The Gator Swim Club men also took home a win in the medley relay, with the squad of Wang, Denisyako, Campsie and Mason Wilby<\/strong> touching in 3:53.03.
