Queens was 2nd in 7:18.75, while Nova Southeastern was 3rd in 7:22.72.<\/p>\n<p>Wingate and Queens touched only .02 apart heading into the last leg, but Divelbiss&#8217; anchor leg got them out to a lead at the 650 mark and didn&#8217;t let up. University of Charlotte ended the night by demolishing the NCAA record in the 800 free relay, taking 5 seconds off of the team&#8217;s 2016 record. The foursome of\u00a0<strong>Dion Dreesens\u00a0<\/strong>(1:33.62),\u00a0<strong>Paul Pijulet\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.36),\u00a0<strong>Marius Kusch\u00a0<\/strong>(1:34.15), and\u00a0<strong>Nick Arakelian\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.33) finished in 6:18.46, blasting through the record and finishing more than 10 seconds ahead of the field. Drury was second in 6:29.81 while Nova Southeastern was 3rd in 6:30.30.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, Dion Dreesens lead-off leg was faster than his time in winning the individual event.
