Agnel nearly downed his second-ranked season-best time of 1:46.30 in the men's 200 free, but settled with a meet-record effort of 1:46.58 in the event. He lowered his 2009 mark of 1:47.02. Russia's Andrey Ushakov placed second in 1:49.11, while Denmark's Daniel Skaaning pocketed third in 1:50.23. <\/p>\n
Russia's Anton Lobanov jumped up to 15th in the world in the men's 100 breast with a sterling time of 1:01.06. He bumped Brazil's Tales Cerdeira (1:01.12) out of the top 15. Norway's Sverre Naess cleared 1:02 as well with a second-place time of 1:01.91, while Germany's Christian vom Lehm touched third in 1:02.56. <\/p>\n
Ukraine's Maxym Shemberyev won the men's 400 IM with a time of 4:20.46, while Luxembourg's Raphael Stacchiotti touched second in 4:21.28. Hungary's Zsombor Szana snatched third in 4:21.53. <\/p>\n
Ukraine's Daryna Zevina topped the women's 100 back in 1:02.05, while Italy's Rachele Qualla took second in 1:02.72. Great Britain's Karley Mann placed third in 1:02.99.<\/p>\n
Spain's Marina Garcia Urzainqui touched out Italy's Lisa Fissneider, 1:09.40 to 1:09.59, in the women's 100 breast. Finland's Jenna Laukkanen captured third in 1:10.42. <\/p>\n
Great Britain's Sophie Smith edged Spain's Beatriz Gomez Cortes, 2:14.48 to 2:14.65, in the women's 200 IM. Germany's Juliane Reinhold touched third in 2:15.16. <\/p>\n
Poland's Marcin Cieslak hit the wall in 53.91 to win the men's 100 fly. France's Mehdy Metella took second overall in 54.08, while Hungary's Bence Biczo finished third in 54.22.<\/p>\n
Ukraine's Nadiya Koba stopped the clock in 27.13 in the women's 50 fly, while Germany's Silke Lippok posted a second-place 27.13. Russia's Daria Tcvetkova finished third in 27.62. <\/p>\n
Ukraine's Andriy Govorov finished a strong final day for his country with a 22.54 to win the men's 50 free. Belgium's Jasper Aerents placed second in 22.79, while France's Clement Mignon snagged third in 22.96. <\/p>\n
